Bahrain Strengthens IPRs Campaign

MANAMA - The Ministry of Information (MOI) in the Kingdom of Bahrain has strengthened its efforts to protect Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and raise the level of public awareness about piracy, AME Info reported.

The MOI has been launching several initiatives and campaigns, in collaboration with various concerned parties in Bahrain, to raise awareness about the role of original software in increasing returns on IT investment and the positive impact of reducing piracy rates on the national economy.

The MOI is also implementing stringent legal mechanisms aimed at enforcing IPRs laws in the Kingdom.
