GAZA - In order to facilitate and simplify the process of filing in Gaza, all Powers of Attorney submitted to the Trademark Office, starting October 1, 2006, should only be signed and stamped by an authorized signatory as previously the case.
According to the General Directorate of Intellectual Property Rights at the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy, the Trademark Office had to reserve its decision issued on September 1, 2006 on the legalization requirement which was imposed on all Powers of Attorney submitted to the Office.
