RIYADH - The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) General Secretariat unveiled plans to open a unified regional office for the registration of trademarks from member countries, reported The Gulf News.
"The secretariat is working out a unified law for the registration of trademarks. This would lead to open a regional office to carry out the registration procedures," the General Secretariat pointed out in a statement.
The unified law outlines almost all the issues relating to trademarks, including registration procedures and rights of trademark holders.
