Official Launch of Tunisia’s Digitalized Industrial Property System
29-Jun-2026 TUNIS – Under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI), in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Institute of Patent Information (KIPI), Tunisia officially launched its digitalized industrial property system.
The event, which gathered representatives from various national institutions, technical organizations, IP firms, and international partners, marks the strengthening of Tunisian-Korean cooperation and aims to support the digital transformation of public administration, promote innovation, and enhance economic competitiveness in Tunisia.
The modernization project for industrial property administration, which began in 2023, has resulted in the development of advanced digital solutions by KIPI experts in close collaboration with INNORPI teams and with the support of KOICA. These solutions cover the main industrial property services, including electronic filing of trademark, patent, and industrial design applications in addition to the e-search service.
Through this new digital platform, users, including companies, IP agents, creators, researchers, and inventors, can complete their procedures remotely, file applications online, and access national information and databases more easily without having to go in person. The system will enhance the accessibility, efficiency, speed, and transparency of industrial property services in Tunisia.
