AGIP Elected Director Unit of Guangzhou’s Enterprise Going Global Service Alliance, Shares Practical Overseas IP Strategies

23-Apr-2026

GUANGZHOU - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) China office was invited to the inaugural ceremony of the 2026 Intellectual Property Publicity Week Core Activity and Enterprise Going Global Service Alliance at Tian'an Energy Conservation Science and Technology Park in Guangzhou, and was elected as a Director Unit of the Alliance. As the only overseas intellectual property service organization invited, AGIP will join the core team advising Guangzhou IP Bureau on international IP services and supporting local enterprises expanding abroad.

AGIP’s election as a Director Unit recognizes its professional strength and growing influence in global intellectual property services. AGIP brings years of hands-on experience helping Chinese companies establish and protect IP across the Middle East, Africa, and Eurasia. At the ceremony's key round-table forum, "The Path of Collaborative Empowerment of Overseas Service Organizations for Enterprises Going Global," AGIP China's Head of Marketing, Ms. Joyce Choi, outlined practical methods to overcome cultural and regional regulatory barriers, and detailed approaches for overseas IP layout and localized compliance operations.

Ms. Choi’s presentation emphasized actionable steps for enterprises and local authorities to reduce IP risks while pursuing international markets. She highlighted the importance of tailoring IP strategies, conducting early risk assessments, and building local partnerships to ensure enforcement and compliance across diverse jurisdictions. Her insights were well-received by Guangzhou IP Bureau officials, enterprise representatives, and other on-site guests, reinforcing AGIP's role as a trusted overseas partner for firms in the Greater Bay Area.

Looking ahead, AGIP plans to leverage its global network and technical expertise to deliver customized IP solutions to enterprises in Guangzhou and the Greater Bay Area. As a Director Unit of the Enterprise Going Global Service Alliance, AGIP will work closely with the Guangzhou IP Bureau and alliance members to support international expansion, provide training and resources, and help companies secure and enforce intellectual property rights in target markets.
