UAE Removes Requirement to Submit Registration Certificates for Trademark Post-Registration Actions
13-Apr-2026 DUBAI – In accordance with recent updates to the online filing system of the UAE Ministry of Economy, it has been noted that a copy of the trademark registration or previous renewal certificate is no longer required when filing certain post-registration actions.
This update appears to streamline procedures relating to renewals, assignments, licences, and the recordal of changes such as name, address, or mergers.
