The meeting emphasized the shared goal of protecting creators’ rights, encouraging innovation, and supporting economic growth across ARIPO’s 22 member states.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to pursue a practical action plan that will map priority areas for cooperation, schedule follow-up technical exchanges, and explore workshops and training programs tailored to Tanzanian stakeholders. Strengthened collaboration with ARIPO is expected to help Tanzania better protect its intellectual assets, attract investment, and support sustainable economic development through innovation.
