DOHA - The Qatari Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department announced that it will be implementing temporary changes to trademark filing procedures and deadlines in response to the current situation in the country. This is due to the department's shift to remote operations. The department will receive several trademark-related instructions with deadlines after on-site operations resume, and a grace period will be granted at a later date to receive the following transactions:

- Final Trademark Registration Receipts
- Trademark Renewal Receipts
- Trademark Publication Receipts
- Opposition Receipts

The department also requests that all responses to trademarks and patents oppositions and office actions be submitted via email to the Qatari Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department.
