Qatar Implements Remote Work: Essential IP Services Continue Uninterrupted
02-Mar-2026 DOHA - Based on recent directives from the Qatari Government, the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department has transitioned to a remote work arrangement for administrative staff effective March 1, 2026, due to regional developments.
As a result, essential IP services, such as trademark and patent filings, will remain operational through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s (MOCI) electronic portal. Other services are not available through the portal currently.
AGIP's office in Qatar will continue to operate on-site as usual, closely monitoring the situation and providing updates as necessary.
