UAE Cabinet Approves New Resolution on Trademarks Fees and Services
08-Oct-2025 The UAE Cabinet has issued Cabinet Resolution No. (102) of 2025, updating the Ministry of Economy and Tourism’s service fee framework for trademark services.
This update introduces several new services aimed at enhancing efficiency, flexibility, and accessibility within the UAE’s trademark system. The changes will take effect on November 15, 2025.
Key Highlights:
• Introduction of a One-Day Trademark Examination service.
• Provision for temporary trademark protection at events, exhibitions, and workshops.
• Option to convert local trademark applications into an international application under the Madrid Protocol.
• 50% fee exemption for SMEs registered under the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises.
• Full fee exemption for People of Determination.
