Requirements for Filing Design Applications
Basic requirements
1. Simply signed POA
2. Name, address, nationality of the applicant
3. Class of the design
4. Description of the novelty of the design
5. Representation of the article clearly showing the features of the design applied for in different views and clearly stating names of the views. The representation may contain drawings or photographs or specimens of the design as applicable.
6. Copy of affidavit or declaration duly legalized of the applicant
7. Legalized deed of assignment.
8. For priority claims, certified copy of the priority documents. If the priority application is in any language other than English, then a certified translation or transliteration should be submitted
