Renewal
The term of protection may be renewed for subsequent periods of 10 years. During the six-month period prior to expiry of the term of registration, and subject to request and payment of the prescribed fee, a trademark may be renewed for consecutive periods of 10 years. Additionally, the applicant for renewal may be granted a grace period of 6 months for late payment of the renewal fee plus a surcharge.
