Al Matal High Lake has a unique setting being at the top of a mountain that overlooks both the sea and the city of Aqaba. This setting makes the project a landmark for the city. Instead of having a gated community like the rest of the developments in Aqaba, one of the main design goals was to make part of this development a public space with a wide panoramic road overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba, the city of Aqaba and Taba beach. The Resort, has a unique manmade lake (100 dunums).
