Sindbad Group is a triangle of leadership that emerged from a sincere passion for diving and preserving sea life and the dynamic relationship of three partners. Eng. Khaled Darwish, Eng. Bashar  Zawaideh, and Dr. Thaer Darwish, grouped their diverse backgrounds and expertise to start a new business adventure in 1999.  

Sindbad Started by signing contracts signed contracts with the most well reputed resorts in Aqaba  for the last 20years.

In 2005 Sindbad group introduced the marine transportation shuttle between Jordan and Egypt, 2007 was a quantum leap when the company decided to introduce a new era in Marine transportation by introducing High speed catamarans, in 2017 Sindbad formed an Alliance with the main national transporter Messers AB Maritime  for Aqaba –Taba. 

Under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Sindbad was awarded Ernst & Young Entrepreneur. Accordingly, Sindbad represented Jordan for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur for the WORLD award 2015 in Monte-Carlo .

Sindbad group won the investment opportunity introduced by the Aqaba Development coorporation (ADC) to develop a service beach to enhance Aqaba as a tourist destination, establishing  Bernice beach club right in the heart of Aqaba Marine park ,The club is a fully services a 5stars Diving Center ,Yachting ,water sports ,swimming pools ,restaurants , international jetty for excursions and bus shuttles .

Sindbad group won a new investment opportunity introduced (ADC) to build 80 bungalows with the option to buy after accomplishment, to be connected through a wide tunnel forming a unique beach resort designed also for people with special needs, which will give Aqaba an excellent opportunity as a destination by obtaining the initial approval from the National Geographic as one of the 33 unique lodges of the world to be the first in the Middle East and Asia.
