Aqaba Logistics Village Introduction 

The Aqaba Logistics Village (ALV) project was conceived to fulfill the vision of HM King Abdullah II in developing Aqaba Special Economic Zone as a regional hub for logistics and cargo support. ALV’s aim is to support this vision through the establishment of high standards in service quality, efficiency and professionalism. Here ALV has a national role in supporting Jordan’s economy through the maintaining of Aqaba’s competitive edge in service provision to local and transit traders and agents.
Today, ALV offers warehousing, logistics and cargo support services from a 470,000 sqm site adjacent to Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT). The company continues to develop this site with the needs of both local and international companies in mind.

Aqaba Logistics Village is managed by APM Terminals, part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group. As such we are committed to the Group values and, in particular, to guaranteeing a safe environment at ALV for our employees, customers, contractors and all other stakeholders of the organization.

Aqaba Logistics Village is one of Aqaba Development Corporation Business Unit, and working under the ASEZA regulations 

ALV facilities include:

• 10,000m2 Container freight station (CFS) for handling and storage of LCL cargo.
• 20,000m2 Distribution Centers, with temperature control for handling and storage of FCL Cargo.
• 3,000m2 covered shed
• Hard stand and asphalt open yards, for vehicles and oversized cargo storage. 
• Customs control and representation across the facility.
• Weighbridge and other infrastructure
• Service center including 5,000m2 of rental office space. 

Aqaba Logistics Village Products and Services

• Warehouse Storage and handling 
  Commercial warehousing takes place in our 20,000m2 Distribution Centers. Services include shunting from the port, un-stuffing, storage, sorting palletizing, packing, wrapping and distribution.
• Open yard storage and handling
  ALV stores many commodities in its 48,000m2 of open yards, from cars to containers to cables; and on surfaces ranging from light asphalt to hard stand concrete. Open yard requirements may include yard segregation, equipment hire and other bespoke services.
• Cross-docking and cross-stuffing
  ALV is the Number 1 facility in Jordan for import cross-docking, with a specialty in cross-border transit cargo to Iraq and other countries in the region. Our new facility will provide unrivalled efficiency in both import and export cross-docking and container cross-stuffing within a stone’s throw of the marine container terminal.
• Container Freight Station (CFS)
  ALV’s 10,000m2 CFS handles more than 3,500 TEUs of less-than-container-load cargo annually. These are containers housing cargo of all kinds that belong to more than one consignee. Sorting, storing and distributing these shipments require high process efficiency.
• Service Center 
  A total of 5,000m2 of on-site office space is also available for rent, which provides a strategic office place for customers, clearing agents and shipping agents that is close to ACT and ALV
