CRA Qatar Issues Precaution Measures during the FIFA World Cup 2022
30-Oct-2022 DOHA - The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Qatar has issued certain measures to further protect .QA and .قطر registry operations during the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The measures that will be implemented by the CRA Internet Domain Section include:
- New accreditations will be suspended till December 31, 2022.
- Renewal certificates will be suspended till December 30, 2022.
- Access to the OTE environment (Portal and EPP) has been revoked from November 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022
- Access to the production Portal has been revoked from November 15, 2022 to December 23, 2022.
- All or certain critical domains will be locked for any changes; changes to these domains will be done directly by the CRA.
The CRA reduced its working hours from November 1, 2022 to December 19, 2022 to be from (7:00 am – 11:00 am).
