Bahrain Increases VAT from 5 % to 10%
27-Dec-2021 MANAMA – Bahrain’s Council of Representatives has approved the increase of the Value Added Tax (VAT) from 5% to 10% starting January 1, 2022.
Starting from that date, AGIP’s invoices for all Intellectual Property matters in Bahrain will reflect the new increased VAT rate.
In addition, all pending stages for the earlier jobs, which will be completed with issuance of related invoices on or after the above-mentioned date, shall include the new VAT rate.
