Design Applications

(Cautionary Notices)

•A copy of the ID card, passport, or commercial registration of the inventor.
•A copy of the ID card, passport, or commercial registration of the owner of the industrial design/model if not the same as of the inventor.
•A copy of the work in the form of photographs or other graphic forms if the industrial design/model is two-dimensional.
•If the industrial design/model is three-dimensional, more than one image must be submitted to cover the various dimensions, not exceeding 25 images.
•A Power of Attorney document legalized up to the Qatari Consulate and the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required. Once we receive the original legalized Power of Attorney, the local legalization up to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) will be handled by us.  
•A certified certificate of priority application (within 6 months from the date of application submission).
•A certificate granting temporary protection for the industrial design/model (if applicable).
•A certified translation of the documents into Arabic if they are in another language.
