GCC TM Law and its Implementing Regulations Come into Force in KSA

RIYADH - The GCC Trademark Law and its Implementing Regulations will come into force in Saudi Arabia on September 27, 2016.
A delay of few days is expected, due to the technical issues that will accompany the launch of the new system.
The increase in the official fees related to filing, registration and renewal of trademarks is under consideration at the Minister of Commerce and Investment.
We invite our clients to provide the filing instructions for trademarks, including all types, before the implementing due date of the new law.
