China: Drop in Official Fees for Trademark Registration

BEIJING - China Trademark Office (CTMO) announced that the official fees for trademark registration in China will be reduced as from October 15, 2015.
The CTMO decision stipulates that the official fees for trademark registration will be reduced to be RMB600.00 instead of RMB800.00. The official fees for each additional item of goods/services exceeding the basic number of ten will drop from RMB80.00 to RMB60.00.
However, other official fees related to trademark opposition, assignment and appeal will remain unchanged.
