Lebanon Requires Legalization of Power of Attorney

BEIRUT – The Ministry of Economy and Trade of Lebanon announced that notarization and legalization of Power of Attorney are required for all Intellectual Property (IP) related matters. The Lebanese consulates abroad will provide legalization services for documents.
This decision was taken to organize the work of Department of Intellectual Property Protection, affiliate of Ministry of Economy and Trade, and will enter into force as from April 10, 2015.
