Increase in Official Publication Fees in Syria

DAMASCUS – By virtue of the Ministerial Decree No. 1999 of November 13, 2014, issued by the Syrian Ministry of Interior Trade and Consumer Protection, which was disclosed just recently without an earlier notice, the official publication and search fees will be increased as of January 1, 2015.
Such an increase will be applied to publications fees of trademarks/designs applications and renewals as well as the recordals thereof.
We would like to draw your attention that our own professional charges will be reduced in order to cope with the rise of the aforesaid official fees and avert the increase in the total inclusive charges, as we always endeavor to provide our clients with high-quality services coupled with competitive charges.
