AGIP Participates in First International Innovation Forum in Dubai

DUBAI – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) participated in the First International Innovation Forum, held in Dubai, February 23-27, 2020.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with Dubai Customs, for the purpose of seeking, incubating, supporting and sponsoring the best innovative initiatives as well the  creative thinkers and innovators while striving to achieve their organizational goals of being leaders in their fields.

AGIP representatives participated in the event where they met creative and talented thinkers, inventors, and innovators of all ages from various sectors including government, private, and education, and discussed intellectual property rights, patent mechanisms and procedures that promote innovation and the empowerment of owners of innovations.

In recognition of its outstanding and invaluable support to IP community in the UAE, AGIP was awarded two certificates of appreciation by Dubai Customs.

Commenting on his participation in this event, Mr. Mohannad Barbarawi, Head of Marketing at AGIP UAE Office, said: “Within five days, we have built communication platform with IP experts, innovators and inventors, and discussed the significant role of Intellectual Property in furthering the economic and technological development, and particularly in promoting innovation, highlighting AGIP’s role in raising awareness on IP and respect for the contribution of creative artists and innovators worldwide.”
