Palestine and WIPO Launch Electronic Services in the Field of IP

RAMALLAH - The Palestinian Minister of National Economy, Mr. Khalid Al-Osaily, and the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mr. Francis Gurry, launched electronic services in the field of Intellectual Property services, including filing and examination.
Mr. Al-Osaily pointed out that this achievement is the culmination of the cooperation between WIPO and the Ministry, which encourages investment and transfer of technology. Mr. Al-Osaily has added that the remaining 22 electronic services will be launched by the end of this year.
During his visit to Palestine for the first time, Mr. Gurry has appreciated the cooperation between WIPO and Palestine and declared that his talks with the Minster have concentrated on increasing the cooperation in the field of Intellectual Property.
