AGIP Participates in Russian IP Week 2019

MOSCOW, SAINT PETERSBURG – On the occasion of World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) participated in the Russian IP Week events held in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, from April 22 – 27, 2019.
The events included many workshops and forums addressing different topics on Intellectual Property, and attended by many representatives from different countries.
Mr. Mahmoud Lattouf, AGIP Offices Executive Director, represented AGIP in these events, where he gave a speech in the plenary session of the International Forum “Innovative Development through the IP Market”, organized by the Republican Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property (RSRIIP), as well as a presentation about AGIP and general overview of IP in the region.
During this event, Mr. Lattouf met with Mr. Vladimir Lopatin, Director of the Republican Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property (RSRIIP), and discussed the bilateral cooperation between AGIP and the Institute to develop a comprehensive framework for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Furthermore, Mr. Lattouf carried out a presentation about AGIP, our services, expansion, and general overview about IP in the region, during the International Forum "Intellectual Property - XXI Century”, organized by The Russian Export Center (REC) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
AGIP marked also a successful participation in the International Forum “Festival IP for Future”, where Mr. Alexandar Gromov, from AGIP Russia Office, gave a presentation highlighting AGIP role in raising awareness on the value of Intellectual Property Rights protection among many countries.
Commenting on his participation in these events, Mr. Lattouf said: “We, as an active member within the worldwide IP community, consider the international IP-related events as good platforms to build communication networks with experts from the world community of Intellectual Property, and exchange experience and the latest developments in the IP field.”
