AGIP Participates in the 60th Anniversary of the Union of Soviet Societies for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries in Russia

MOSCOW - At the invitation of the Russian Middle Eastern Society Foundation, AGIP and TAG-Org representatives participated in a solemn evening dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Union of Soviet Societies for Friendship and Cultural Contacts with Foreign Countries (USSF).

As part of the solemn evening, an exhibition of paintings by a young Syrian artist, Roua Ezzi, was held, where H.E. Mr. Amjad Adaileh, Ambassador of Jordan to the Russian Federation, and Ms. Dina Al-Momani, Manager of the AGIP Russia office, spoke at the opening of the exhibition.

Ms. Dina Al-Momani has read out a welcoming address from H.E. Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), to the participants and guests of the event. In his welcoming address, H.E. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh noted: "It is noteworthy that this exhibition is a part of celebrating the anniversary of the Union of Soviet Societies for Friendship. Everywhere and at all times, the language of paintings, the language of art, and the language of beauty does not require translation and it is understandable to all people in the world. Beauty and art serve the great goal of development, and strengthen ties and friendship between peoples of the entire globe. I am sure that we all together will make every effort to ensure that such events become the main tool of people diplomacy throughout the world".

Representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Foreign Ministry of Russia, the Moscow Patriarchate, RosSotrudnichestvo, the diplomatic corps of foreign countries, Russian business circles, Russian regions, Russian and foreign societies of friendship with the peoples of foreign countries, and activists and veterans of public diplomacy and international humanitarian cooperation took part in the solemn evening.
