Bosnia-Herzegovina Accedes to Three International IP Treaties

SARAJEVO – Bosnia will become a party to the Budapest Treaty after the deposit of its instrument of accession to the microorganisms for patent procedures, the Madrid Protocol concerning the international registration of marks and the Strasbourg Agreement on international patent classification.

According to SD Petosevic, the Budapest Treaty and the Madrid Protocol will take effect in Bosnia-Herzegovina on January 27, 2009. The Strasbourg Agreement enters into force on October 27, 2009.
