Iraq: Trademarks Published in Three Official Gazettes Issues

BAGHDAD – Pursuant to the provisions of the Article No. 11 of the Iraqi Trademark Law No. 21 of 1957, the approved trademarks will be published in three consecutive editions of the Official Gazette with one-week interval, noting that the 90-day opposition period will be counted from the publication date of the last issue.
Iraq Trademark registrar started implementing this new procedure following the publication of the Official Gazette No. 557 issued on November 20, 2017.
