AGIP Participates in AIPLA Annual Meeting

WASHINGTON D.C - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) participated in the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Annual Meeting, which was held in Washington D.C, USA, October 19-21, 2017
AGIP’s Vice-President Marketing and Executive Director, Mr. Nabil Salamé, and National Development Executive Director, Mr. Motasem Abu-Ghazaleh participated in the meeting, which gathered over 2000 participants from all over the world, and presented a great opportunity to meet and exchange with IP firms’ representatives.
During the event, AIPLA’s International & Foreign Law Committee organized a workshop in which the Arab Practice subcommittee, co-chaired by Mr. Nabil Salamé and Mr. Motasem Abu-Ghazaleh, participated.
Three presentations were carried out by the Arab Practice subcommittee, and focused on the protection of IP rights in the Arab Region. Mr. Motasem Abu-Ghazaleh moderated a session, and was one of the speakers. He carried out the presentation entitled “The Truth About Trademark Enforcement in the Arab countries”.
