AMMAN - In order to provide more harmonized, clients' oriented services, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) is pleased to announce the restructuring of its Continents Offices Department starting October 1, 2006.
The five Continents Offices (Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Industrialized Countries) are now replaced with "Country Divisions Offices (CDOs)" which are positioned to meet all clients' Intellectual Property portfolio management needs on an international level.
The CDOs include the following divisions: North America, European Union, Australia and New Zealand, East Europe, Central Europe, North Latin America, South Latin America, Iran, OAPI & Western Southern Africa, ARIPO and Southern Eastern Africa, Pacific & Indian Ocean, South and South Eastern Asia, China and Far East, Japan and Korea.
The CDOs provide reliable and professional services to clients all over the world concerning trademark, patent, industrial design, geographical indication, copyright and domain name registrations in addition to assignment, licensing, and actions related to infringement and opposition.
