Required filing documents

- Name and address of the applicant;

- Prints of the trademark;

- List of goods and/or services in accordance with the international classification;

- Certified copy of priority document if priority is claimed (may be filed within three months from the filing date);

- Simply signed Power of Attorney (legalization and notarization is not required) (may be filed within two months from the application filing date).

Registration procedure

After completion of filing procedure the Official Notification of the receipt of the Application is issued within 3-4 months. Then the trademark undergoes formal and substantive examinations. On condition that the trademark meets the requirements of protectability the trademark is published in the Official Bulletin. Within 2 months from the date of publication any third party may oppose the registration of the trademark. In absence of opposition during the prescribed term and the official registration fee is paid the trademark is registered and the certificate is issued within 3-4 months. The procedure of the trademark registration takes from 12 to 15 months.
