Filing Requirements
Trademark/Service Mark Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the applicant, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete applicant’s name and address should be indicated in this document.

2. A list of the items of goods/services to be covered by the application, which should be selected from the International NICE Classification (12th Edition-version 2023).

3. One high-quality representation of the trademark in JPEG format. 

4. A scanned colored copy/an electronic copy of the priority document (for claiming priority within six months from the filing date of the foreign application) accompanied with a simple English translation (if issued in a different language).

Collective and Quality Mark Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the applicant, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete applicant’s name and address should be indicated in this document.

2. A list of the items of goods/services to be covered by the application, which should be selected from the International NICE Classification (12th Edition-version 2023).

3. One high-quality representation of the trademark in JPEG format. 

4. Two certified copies of the Articles of Association with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

5. Two certified copies of the system to be adopted by the applicant in controlling or examining the products along with a statement on the conditions and requirements to be available therein and the method of using the mark thereon, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.
  
Renewal Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the owner, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The owner’s name and address should be indicated in this document in accordance with the Trademark Registry.

2. A copy of the registration certificate of the trademark (if not handled through our firm).

Assignment Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the assignee, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete assignee’s name and new address should be indicated in this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of Deed of Assignment executed by the assignor, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of the assigned trademark(s), if not handled by our office.

Merger
 
1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the new owner’s name, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete owner’s name and new address should be indicated in this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of merger document, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of the trademark(s), if not handled by our office.

License Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the Licensee’s name, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete Licensee’s name and new address should be indicated in this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of License Agreement executed by both the Licensor and the Licensee, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of the trademark(s), if not handled by our office.

Change of Name Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the new owner’s name, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete owner’s name and new address should be indicated in this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of change of owner’s name document, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of the trademark(s), if not handled by our office.

Change of Address Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name of the owner, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete owner’s name and new address should be indicated in this document.
